Employer Services

There was a time when the stigma of illicit substance use or uncontrolled alcohol abuse was such that talking to an employer about this issue might cost someone their job. Today however we think that most employers are aware that supporting an employee with this problem is the better solution.

After successfully completing a treatment program most employees return to work happier, less stressed and more productive. They are generally gratefull and loyal to employers who stand by them in their time of need. It is also a well know fact that it is more cost effective to support a worker in treatment than to train a replacement.

Prevention

Prevention of alcohol, tobacco, other drug use by our children, and substance abuse by adults is the mission of the ADAPT Prevention, Intervention Program.

River's Edge Counseling Services

For over 30 years Adapt has provided substance abuse prevention & treatment services in Southern Oregon. Throughout that time we have worked primarily with "public sector" clients... people with limited financial resources but able to qualify for state funding or access the Oregon Health plan to pay for their treatment.

While we will never stop serving these clients, we have developed the River's Edge program to better serve those clients with private insurance or the ability to pay for their treatment services themselves. Treatment groups, individual and family counseling and mental health services are all available in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere.

While we still have the same well trained counselors and in large part the same top quality treatment materials... at River's Edge we try to provide smaller group sizes in a more comfortable environment than is usually possible in our publicly funded programs.
