Oregon Treatment Network

With 100 years of operational experience, the Oregon Treatment Network (OTN) provides chemical dependency prevention, intervention, and treatment services that are more comprehensive and diverse, at less cost, and covering a wider geographical area than any other provider in Oregon.

Affiliations and partnerships with BestCare Treatment Services, the service provider for OTN, and the with the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), enable the Oregon Treatment Network to be more proficient in meeting its objectives.

BestCare has set up a full continuum of care in Central Oregon, which includes a detoxification program, residential and outpatient treatment, and transitional housing for women. Services are available in Bend, Redmond, and Madras. By providing a full continuum of care within one agency, we are able to provide continuity in treatment approaches and eliminate the "cracks" that clients often fall through when they transition from one agency to another.

NIDA Research Projects have been established within OTN member agencies. The projects are a result of coordination between the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the Oregon Treatment Network (OTN), The Center for Health Research at Kaiser Permanente (CHR), and the Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU). National affiliations range across the country and include many distinguished universities and treatment agencies, all working together to create a collaborative network seeking useful techniques for working with addiction.

The Oregon Treatment Network (OTN) was organized to deliver managed care chemical dependency services throughout Oregon under one contract.

Members of the Oregon Treatment Network are four of the largest chemical dependency agencies in the state of Oregon: ADAPT in Roseburg, Grants Pass, and Coos Bay; New Directions Northwest, Inc. in Baker City; CODA in Portland and Eugene, and Willamette Family Treatment Services in Eugene.

The network offers the opportunity to contract with a single source which provides coordinated, consistent, and predictable treatment throughout Oregon.

Treatment services include detoxification, outpatient, intensive outpatient, methadone maintenance, residential, and intensive residential. Equally, important are the specialty services offered by OTN.
